Botox is used to treat wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines and lines around the lips and chin. This procedure only takes a few minutes and does not require any anesthesia. It usually takes three to seven days to take full effect. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should not be used two weeks before the treatment. Alcohol should also be avoided one week before the treatment. Botox generally lasts three to four months.
